ABOUT US
Tom Premier, fell in love with woodworking in high school shop class. He apprenticed at Stirling Woodworks in Maple Ridge BC under Steve Glegg, and obtained his Canadian Red Seal in Joinery as a journeyman cabinetmaker in 2007.
Since then Tom has moved all over Canada and worked with top architects such as Omar Gandhi, MacKay-Lyons Sweetapple and Nelson's own Studio 9. His work has been featured in publications such as The Globe & Mail, The Coast & Archdaily. He's even build cabinets for Sidney Crosby.
Tom moved to Rossland for the winter of 07/08 to snowboard for the season. That season turned into 3 more. Meghan, Tom's partner, got into Dalhousie in 2011, so after 3 years in Halifax, 2 years in Golden and a year in KImberley they finally moved back to Rossland. This is where they wanted to raise their kids, and are currently doing so with Oliver, 6, and Henry, 3.
Tom Premier Millwork & Design started in 2017, creating spaces that are functional, clean, clutter-free, fully custom and top quality. Tom works with the client, designer, architect, builder and sub-trades to ensure the final product is truly exceptional. He stands behind his work for years to come.
